Description:

Vibram is seeking a dynamic and experienced Repair Director to lead our commercial operations in the USA. This role will be responsible for managing relationships with distributors and retailers to expand Vibram's presence in the American repair market.


The ideal candidate will also collaborate with Master Cobbler Vibram and the shoe repair team to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for cobblers, focusing on the resole of technical footwear using Vibram technologies.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow Vibram's market share in the American repair industry.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors and retailers to ensure optimal brand representation and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with Vibram Master Cobbler and marketing department to create a training calendar for cobblers.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions to educate cobblers on resole techniques using Vibram technologies.
  • Plan meetings with clients/distributors to highlight strategies and market issues.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and training program effectiveness.
  • Provide budgeting analysis on sales forecasts, classification, and investments.
  • Work with the marketing department to manage all promotional activities and event/trade show organization for the target market.
  • Represent Vibram at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand and its products.
  • Oversee delivery, credit, logistics processes in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Coordinate the Sales team and Customer Service activities for the target market.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial or sales role, the footwear or repair industry will be a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing distributor and retailer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of technical footwear and resole techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed to meet with distributors, retailers, and attend industry events.
