Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts with bank activity.
  • Manage and verify flow of cash inflows and outflows.
  • Prepare and document Journal Entries on regular basis.
  • Maintain current bank account documentation, including balances and transaction details.
  • Assist with various audits, providing supporting documents to verify transactions.
  • Provides professional communications with customers and vendors, both internal and external.
  • Coordinating with banks to ensure that deposits are made on time and that checks are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work with the AP team on property escheatment, invoice audits, submitting payment files to the bank, and backing up certain sensitive processes.
  • Create and maintain appropriate job procedures as they change over time.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or math related field is a plus.
  • Strong math, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Must have strong attention to detail, and discretion to safely manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to organize work, establish priorities, meet established deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimum direction.
  • Ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
