This position involves research into the molecular and cellular mechanisms of psychiatric disorders and their treatments. The candidate will perform research, write manuscripts, give presentations, advise undergraduates, and any other assignments that I, as the principal investigator, may request.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in neuroscience, molecular biology, biology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience/exposure and a commitment to excellent research.
- Previous research experience in studying mood and addiction disorders is preferred, and we are also interested in candidates with experience or expertise in molecular biology, confocal microscopy, mouse behavior, and/or computational biology.
- Candidates are expected to have advanced written and oral communication skills and the desire to supervise junior researchers in the lab.
