Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage a team that develops training and workshops for instructors within the DoD customer space across multiple disparate locations across the United States.
  • Review existing curricula for relevance and develop new curricula to achieve educational goals.
  • Identify emerging technologies to be used in the training and education space.
  • Develop staff training, assess the strategic goals of the military training model, and provide consistency across programs, which include technical, administrative, and professional support services, to develop and implement training objectives.
  • Support the training support effort to significant DoD program locations in the form of operational and resource compliance, including curriculum, staff design, equipment inventory, technology refresh, cooperative agreement compliance, and data call compilation.
  • Cross-collaborate with other PMs and the Program Manager on similar projects.
  • Establish trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders for long-term partnerships.
  • Able to execute within the small business regulations, specifically those related to the SBA 8(a) program.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in managing large, complex Federal Government projects.
  • 5 years of management-level experience with residential youth outreach programs.
  • 5 years experience in analyzing data related to the youth metric-based information.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.) or related field required; Master’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Provide leadership, advice, and guidance in a timely fashion to the team and customers, manage budgets and forecasting, and coach staff simultaneously.
  • Facilitate inter/intra company teamwork to achieve business goals while promoting a culture of shared purpose.
  • Thorough understanding of project budgets and staffing, including recognizing achievements and areas where change may be necessary.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, solving problems for the team and clients and creating trusted long-term relationships with clients.
  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and the use of original ideas.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% for customer requirements.

Salary/Rate Range $140K-$155K
