The Social Media Manager works under the direction of the Public Information and Philanthropy Officer and is responsible for developing, managing, and executing TrueCare’s social media strategy across all platforms. This role focuses on enhancing TrueCare’s online presence and reputation by creating engaging content, analyzing performance metrics, and fostering connections with online communities. Key responsibilities include managing storytelling and content strategy for social media campaigns that align with organizational goals, promoting brand awareness, and driving engagement. Additionally, the Social Media Manager supports the development of promotional materials, such as digital newsletters, social media graphics, and video content, while staying up to date with social media trends and best practices. This includes collaborating closely with various departments, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure consistent messaging across channels, including traditional and digital platforms.

What You'll Do: 

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute creative, on-brand social media strategies tailored to engage patients, staff, and the community.
  • Content Creation & Distribution: Develop, plan, and execute creative content strategies for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and messaging. Create, edit, and distribute engaging content for public and internal audiences, including posts, blogs, web pages, email campaigns, video scripts, advertisements, and newsletters. Maintain consistency in messaging across patient-facing and employee-facing content.
  • Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and graphics that resonate with our audience.
  • Platform Management: Manage all social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and monitoring for optimal performance. Oversee day-to-day management of social media platforms, including content scheduling, posting, and monitoring interactions. Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovative and effective campaigns.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance, providing actionable insights and monthly reports to guide strategy.
  • Industry and Competitive Tracking: Proactively keep current on industry trends and news, competitive activity, general communication trends, and other relevant information. Takes on additional duties as required. 
  • Online Community Engagement: Coordinate with Patient Retention/Engagement Department and Quality Department to manage reviews, comments on social/public channels. 
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with TrueCare’s voice, mission, and brand guidelines.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for social media-related needs, collaborating with marketing, clinical, and community outreach teams to amplify organizational priorities. Partner with external agencies and media outlets to support social media campaigns and other communication efforts. Actively contributes to creating a cohesive and impactful digital presence that supports TrueCare’s mission and vision.
  • Crisis Management: Monitor social media for potential issues and address them promptly to protect and enhance TrueCare’s reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or Public Relations preferred; Social Media experience with a BA/BS or above in a related subject will also be considered.
  • 5-7 years' experience in social media, preferably in the health care industry.
  • Working knowledge of social media marketing, corporate communication, copywriting, and media relations.
  • Availability to travel and/or work occasionally outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare marketing and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, both written and verbal, is a plus

The pay range for this role is $78,000 to $118,000 on an annual basis.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
