ORACle APPlications Developer
The Pitt Information Technology (Pitt IT) department of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an Oracle Applications Developer to work in the Financial Systems division. This is a fully remote position, and the employee can work from anywhere in the United States that will be responsible for: developing and supporting critical enterprise systems for the entire university-based ERP (Oracle HCM preferred) system, including HR, Benefits and Payroll; performing system-design; re-engineering custom Oracle applications; data analysis and conversion; developing custom interfaces; and creating Oracle forms using PL/SQL and Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher reports.
This is a fully remote position, and the employee can work from anywhere in the United States.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related position.
Experience must include three (3) years working with: (i) Oracle forms and reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, structured programming techniques, and software documentation: (ii) Oracle HCM, (iii) design, development, and implementation of Oracle RICE objects; (iv) Oracle Developer Suite, SQL, DDL, PL/SQL, Open Interfaces, custom Concurrent programs, JDeveloper, and BI Publisher; (v) integration of Oracle EBS and Oracle HCM with third party vendor on premises and Cloud applications using Webservices, Oracle business events; (vi) Oracle’s Application Framework (OAF), including both extending and personalizing one or more of Oracle’s self-service modules; (vii) troubleshooting and problem resolution; and (viii) usage of OUM documentations and standards.
Experience can be concurrent.
