Medical Assistant - temp position with State of NM DOH - Military veterans preferred

ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire a seasoned Medical Assistant to work on a temporary assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a temporary position with the State of New Mexico – Department of Health.

• Pay rate: $25.00 per hour; weekly pay
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Location: 3400 Wellesley Dr NW 87107

Job duties to include:

• Screening incoming visitors
• Checking vitals
• Completing health questionnaires

Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to always communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• A firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
• Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures.
• Must be able to always maintain confidentiality.
