Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our physical therapists and ensuring an excellent experience for our patients. This position is perfect for college students with a background in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field—especially those interested in physical therapy, athletic training, or rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises under the guidance of a physical therapist
- Educate and ensure proper form, technique, and equipment use for exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including wiping down equipment and keeping the gym area safe
- Provide encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehab process
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- College student with coursework in exercise science, kinesiology, biology, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience using gym/fitness equipment and an understanding of exercise mechanics
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with patients and staff
- Dependable, organized, and proactive in assisting the clinical team
- CPR certification
