Job Summary

Under the direction of the QA Manager, will oversee, monitor, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). This role will lead both the internal audit team along with the QA Manager and will be on point during all recertification audits (i.e. ISO, ABS, DNV, API, etc.). This role will develop methods to collect, track, report, and analyze data as required by the QMS and Crosby. Responsible for the initiation and evaluation of Internal Corrective Actions, Supplier Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions. Actively work as a liaison between Quality Assurance and all other interfacing departments concerning QA matters.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential)

  1. Monitors conformance and adherence to the overall Quality Management System.
  2. Responsible for driving Corrective Actions to completion and measuring the effectiveness of the actions taken to mitigate recurrence.
  3. Initiates and follows up on both Internal Corrective Actions as well as Customer Corrective Actions.
  4. Interacts with other departments to initiate and document Corrective Actions.
  5. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) using RCCA methodology.
  6. Use Risk Assessment tools to develop Mitigation Strategies and Contingency Plans.
  7. Assists with developing, changing, and updating policies and procedures.
  8. Performs detailed data analysis as required by QMS or other entities.
  9. Serves as the leader of the Internal Audit Team.
  10. Assembles and submits periodic reports to the Quality Assurance Manager regarding compliance issues related to QMS, audits, and data analysis.
  11. Monitors, maintains, and updates all QA information on the Crosby Intranet.
  12. Performs other duties as outlined by the Quality Assurance Manager and/or the Vice President/General Managers.

Special Location/Position Requirements:

Role is an On-Site role located in Tulsa, OK. Candidates preferred who locate in the Tulsa Metropolitan area.

Job Specifications (Work Experience, Skills, Abilities, etc.)

  • 5-7 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, including ISO 9001 and API-QI.
  • Experience with Corrective Actions, Root Cause Analysis and Preventive Action required.
  • Working knowledge of castings, forgings, plate, bar and other steel products preferred.

Education Requirements:

AAS in Business or Engineering related field or equivalent work experience in the Quality field.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

Daily exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. Is subject to shop noise. Involves extensive standing and walking. Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors and solutions controlled to OSHA standards. Works both in and outdoors with sometimes dusty or confining work areas

when in the shop/lab.
