Job Summary
The Institute for Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to serve the Department for Medicaid Services as part of the Behavioral health Policy team. The position will provide clinical oversight and technical assistance to programs related to SMI & SED intervention and treatment. You will work as part of the team to implement the certification and monitoring of approved federal and state projects and ensure the implementation and evaluation of the programs meet guidelines. You will provide policy guidance to the provider community, participate in reviewing applicable legislation, and assist in updating policy and regulations. You will also serve as a representative of the behavioral health policy team with the managed care organizations (MCOs) and will collaborate with sister agencies related to behavioral health initiatives. Clinical experience in the behavioral health field is preferred (5+yrs).
This position is currently hybrid with occasional in-person meetings in Frankfort, KY.
