Candidates must be ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology; licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; possess exceptional clinical knowledge of clinical acumen; and be committed to teaching and in-patient and ambulatory patient care. Physicians will support the Nephrology Transplant Fellowship program and support trainees assigned to the Nephrology Transplant rotation.

Applicants for Assistant Professor, non-tenure and tenure-stream, should have three or more years of experience in related scientific research; have obtained or demonstrate the ability to obtain external research funding; have disseminated results through peer-reviewed publications and other scientific forums; have significant teaching experience; and demonstrate the capacity for sustained career development, promotion, and tenure.
Applicants for Associate Professor, non-tenure and tenure-stream, should have five or more years of experience in related scientific research; have independent, external research funding and a substantial record of peer-reviewed publications; have significant teaching experience; and demonstrate the capacity for sustained, impactful, and independent scholarly contributions and leadership.
Applicants for Professor, non-tenure and tenure-stream, will have served five to seven years as Associate Professor. The rank of professor recognizes the attainment of authoritative knowledge and reputation in a recognized field of learning and the achievement of effective teaching skills. The professor should have attained superior stature in their field through scholarship, professional practice, and leadership in professional and learned organizations.
