We are seeking to fill a full-time, permanent position in the EMEA region, based in Budapest, Hungary.

Job Purpose:

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will contribute to developing and executing procurement strategies to secure the best value for goods and services while managing risks and ensuring quality. You will work on sourcing products and services, selecting suppliers, negotiating terms, managing orders, and fostering strong supplier relationships. Your focus will be on ensuring efficiency and business partner satisfaction.

Your tasks:

  • Actively manage suppliers across all levels (global, regional, local), with a focus on cybersecurity, risk management, and resilience.
  • Collaborate on sourcing goods and services to reduce risks and costs while ensuring quality supply at DHL Group's preferred conditions, particularly in areas like IT Software, IT Hardware, IT Consulting, Telecommunications, and Financial Services.
  • Support the development, execution, and administration of procurement business processes and plans to maximize value, achieve efficiency, and ensure business partner satisfaction.
  • Develop processes and analyses to proactively enhance DHL Group’s position with suppliers and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Track sourcing opportunities, developing strategies and tactics to obtain products and services based on existing category strategies.
  • Lead procurement processes, including supplier selection, pricing and terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing.

Your profile:

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a similar role, with a focus on managing categories and supplier relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring successful procurement and sourcing strategies.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must. German is a plus.
  • Familiarity with procurement technologies, risk management, and strategic sourcing methodologies is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of sourcing goods and services in various categories (e.g., IT, Telecommunications, Financial Services) is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
