Overview

Ignite@AG: Fuel Your Future

Program Overview:

The Ignite@AG summer externship offers a unique, in-person experience for incoming MBA and current PhD students (class of 2027) to explore the impactful world of economic consulting. This program offers hands-on experience in the role of an Associate (the entry position for new MBA and PhDs) within a collaborative and analytics-focused setting. Participants will gain insights into how Analysis Group consultants address critical problems in business and litigation through data analysis, strategic thinking, and research. Externs will strengthen their ability to apply analytical skills, tackle a mock case, shadow an Associate, receive interview coaching, and network with AG consultants and leaders.

The externship program is designed to provide individuals who have had limited exposure to economic consulting with valuable insights into the field, along with strategies for navigating the workplace and effectively managing dynamics across difference. Anyone is welcome to apply, and we strongly encourage applications from individuals whose backgrounds and experiences have been underrepresented in the economic industry, including students who identify as Black, African American, Hispanic, Latin(a)(e)(o), Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and/or Pacific Islander.
