AttainX, Inc. is an experienced and detailed-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be response for leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The desired candidate will have a firm understanding of Department of State (DOS) Enterprise Architecture, lifecycle methodology, modernized consular systems, and 10 plus years relevant industry experience. The candidate must have an active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance. The Senior QA Engineer will play a critical role in identifying and addressing defects, improving testing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of industry experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Department of State Consular Affairs experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Must have an active SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test execution across multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure).
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and prioritize testing activities accordingly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide feedback on design, and identify testing dependencies.
• Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing to validate software changes and releases.
• Monitor and track defects using bug tracking tools, prioritize issues based on severity and impact, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and help drive initiatives to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
