SUNY College of Technology, Alfred State College, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology Department, seeks qualified applicants for a ten-month tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program starting August 2025. This position focuses on teaching laboratory and project-based learning course work. The department is interested in individuals who have a passion for relating engineering technology topics through practical applications to enable students to learn by doing. This position could primarily involve teaching courses in Statics, Dynamics, Solid Modeling, Mechanics of Materials, among other mechanical engineering technology related courses.

This applicant will be evaluated by the following criteria: education, industrial experience, engineering technology teaching experience, ability to communicate, certifications and licensure.
