Role Purpose:
Implement network and local operation security and safety policies, rules and procedures within Gateway/Hub, and cooperate with the local security head to conduct risk assessment and control within business area. Register, investigate and close the incident/accident cases related to security, safety, dangerous goods and other responsible things, exploring the root causes of major accidents/incidents or potential risks, and developing the corrective actions to avoid the occurrence or recurrence of accidents/incidents. Organizing, delivering and supervising the annual security training plan to continuously improve the security awareness. Cooperating with the local security head to carry out various security and safety audits to ensure that the daily working of security and safety management system in the front line team.
Accountabilities:
- Follow the country legal requirement and global /country security, safety and DG policies and procedures, to provide professional security field support to customers and related shipments.
- Develop and Implement risk assessment policy. Timely conduct the risk assessment and explore the key elements of risk control, and take appropriate measures to control it to avoid serious and major accidents.
- Establish the comprehensive emergency response plan and the special emergency plan, keep on updates in time. Give the clear instructions on local emergency response plans for local facilities, supervise the implementation of local drills.
- Understand and implement the global PRCP policy, follow up the specific commodity and cases reported or detected during the security screening, systematically analyze the data and take the prevention actions accordingly, to maintain the smooth operation of the network and the company's goodwill.
- Understand the legal requirement and regulations related to health, safety and security, be familiar with the relevant regulations and policies within the territory, providing the interpretation and developing the operational processes or guidelines accordingly.
- Set up SMART individual key objective for team members, regular review the progress and evaluate the performance and result accordingly.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Above 5 years of working experience on security or safety related work. At least 2 years of working experience on incident/accident field investigation.
- Strong logic, able to draw conclusions and make quick decisions through in-depth analysis for types of information and data.
- Strong problem solving skills and Emergency Handling
- Learning Acumen and Strong sense of Responsibility
- Ideological integrity and stick to principles
- Excellent communication with written and reading in English
- Prefer holding the certified safety engineer's qualification certificate or other related certification on security and safety field.
