POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our innovative team! As an Accounting Manager you will play a crucial role in providing high-level support for the company’s accounting and financial activities.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Oversee the maintenance of the Company(s) general ledgers.
  • Manage the compilation of the consolidated financial statements and related disclosures, inclusive of eliminations.
  • Prepare work papers and entries for month-end close and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of various federal and state tax returns.
  • Use Business Intelligence tool sets (Power BI, etc.) to increase reporting efficiency and effectiveness with a focus on consistency in the dataset to drive expansion of reporting capabilities.
  • Evaluate, develop, and improve accounting and financial processes to increase accuracy, visibility, and efficiency.
  • Assist in the research and implementation of new accounting pronouncements and tax legislature.
  • Lead reviews and updates to accounting policies and communicate modifications to divisions.
  • Contribute to software implementations, enhancements, and improvements.
  • Assist in documenting accounting processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Work on special projects and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.


This is a full-time salaried position working on-site in Onalaska, WI. Occasional travel may be required.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance with five (5) or more years of accounting or finance experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SQL, and other finance automation tools
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to collaborate and work with all areas of the Company
  • Ability to work with large datasets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
