Overview

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate small projects or section of larger projects.
  • Monitor study activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Organize team meetings: schedule, create agendas, take notes.
  • Train and indirectly supervise students and junior staff.
  • Foster relationships with clinics, community organizations and key partners; promote ORPRN with community partners.
  • Work under the direction of a Principal Investigator or other Project Coordinators or Project Managers. Provide assistance to coordinate research programs.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of project milestones.

Research Support & Coordination

  • Draft sections of grant proposals. This may include leading distinct portions of applications or short-duration or small-scale projects.
  • Recruit and enroll participants to research studies, technical assistance offerings and other projects. Communicate project protocols, implications of participation and aims of the project.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of study and quality improvement protocols, and lead students and junior staff in implementing protocols.
  • Participate in collection, tracking, and/or analysis of qualitative and/or quantitative data. Contribute to papers, posters and presentations to disseminate findings.
  • Draft and submit IRB submissions and modifications.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's in relevant field AND

  • 1 year of relevant experience.
    OR

  • Equivalent combination of training and experience

  • 1 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment


Qualifications



  • Experience in research data collection or research Project Coordination

  • 1 or more years’ experience in practice facilitation or quality improvement

  • 1 or more year in a primary care setting

  • Experience in marketing, outreach or participant recruitment

  • Experience with REDCap

  • Experience with statistical programs such as R, Stata, SAS

  • Experience with Atlas.ti or NVivo
