Your role: 

The Transport Planner performs the day-to-day transport management process (e.g. shipment planning, execution control, FBA support etc.)  Uses the LLP route planning tools to organize transport requirements as advised by customer plants (road, air, ocean transport). It is the first point of contact for supply chain partners for any transport related enquiries and works in close collaboration with them and implementation and delivery of integrated transportation solutions as part of the LLP Supply Chain solutions.

What you will do ? 

  • Act as the key connection between DHL, customer sites, the global supply logistics team, vendors and carriers to ensure a smooth and efficient logistics process;
  • Optimize costs and operations by selecting the best carrier for each shipment;
  • Make sure agreed delivery times for incoming and outgoing shipments are met;
  • Monitor and manage the execution of routes, and handle urgent shipments when needed.

Who are we looking for? 

  • Operational experience managing transports for Road (Ocean/Air nice to have);
  • English language: fluent (verbal&written);
  • Experience of Transport Management.
