About the role:

Participate in the design and implementation of account management strategy to expand and maintain customer base, deliver net growth, revenue, profitability and service targets for key accounts in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Group guidelines and policies.   You will be responsible for short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy.


You will manage Senior Key Account Managers within a regional area of responsibility for Corporate accounts with a personal portfolio value of over £150m per annum.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have extensive experience gained in a similar role, ideally within the parcel delivery sector
  • Be an experienced leader who has managed a nominated sub-function
  • Have experience in building and delivering a short to mid-term functional strategy
  • Be accredited or working toward Membership and certification of APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals)
  • Be able to navigate and resolve complex problems and suggest and drive delivery of solutions, whilst working under pressure and to achieve set deadlines
  • Have outstanding communication skills, in writing and verbally and be able to present to a wide audience, of stakeholders at all levels with confidence
