Summary –
The Senior Procurement Specialist at Universal Avionics is responsible for development and maintenance of global strategic alliances and partnerships with UA’s Supply Chain organization, and with supporting the Director of Supply Chain in streamlining the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to ensure the Supply Chain organization meets Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Supporting responsibilities include performing negotiations, price analysis, execution of purchase orders, and establishing strong lines of communications with key strategic vendors, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Education and/or Experience
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs as well as MRP/ERP systems experience focused on supplier management processes, POs and deliveries.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions; and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
