As part of IT Group Functions, our team is dedicated to meeting the demands and objectives of the Procurement & Mobility organizations by managing their IT Projects, IT Architecture and IT Products.

What does the IT Project Manager Digitalization do?

The IT Project Manager Digitalization possesses the technical and professional overview of the digital solutions and manages the corresponding IT projects in line with overall business strategy as well as DHL guidelines and policies.

In your role, you are responsible for project management, process design and steering the implementation of digitalization projects. Often this involves the introduction of global and cross-divisional low-code/no-code technologies, e.g., BPM solutions, as an augmentation of our existing IT landscape.

You are at the forefront aligning topics with customers and further stakeholders, which provides the opportunity to leave your own footprint. While doing so, your department head and your team mates naturally “have your back” whenever needed.

Your main tasks as “IT Project Manager Digitalization” (m/f/x)

• Management of Digitalization Projects including customer alignments, financials, planning and governance of IT architecture & security
• Coordination and management of cross functional teams, especially IT developers
• Delivery of own project workpackages like process reviews, solution design, documentation of technical specifications, cut-over planning, testing, training
• Advisory of customers regarding process optimization & standardization and technical realization
• Review and assessment of new business requests
• Participation in related global large-scale IT projects with a cross-divisional setup
• Agile working methods with product backlogs & user stories
• Mentoring & support in onboarding new colleagues

Your profile

• University degree in business, computer science or comparable qualification
• Six to ten years of professional experience in project management or process optimization, preferably with a consulting background
• Fluent German and English skills (oral & written at least C1 level) are a must
• Experience with digitalization technologies, especially BPM tools like Pega, Bizagi, etc.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, etc.
• Strong self-organization, flexibility, solution orientation and good stakeholder management
