The Global Compliance Screening Team ensures adherence to international sanctions and regulatory requirements, enabling secure and compliant business operations worldwide. We support the organization by conducting thorough screening of shipments, mitigating legal and reputational risks. Your key accountabilities include:

  • Effectively cooperate with all team members, including analysts, peer managers, head of department and proactively liaise and engage with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical review of existing processes and protocols, and proactive attitude towards their simplification, rationalization, standardization.
  • Continuously provide solid leadership and people management to a global 24x7 team of compliance senior and junior analysts, fulfilling both local and global responsibilities in accordance with local policies and legal provisions.
  • Drive and supervise the denied parties screening, high-risk country shipments, and controlled goods processes globally, ensuring risks are effectively managed and protocols are followed.
  • Maintain oversight and supervision of the screening team's processes, including shift and staffing planning, to ensure accuracy and review completeness.
  • Screen system-generated matches, document assessment results, and escalate positive matches or complex issues for further analysis and resolution. Perform detailed due diligence screening and Level 3 investigation using Case Management, Dow Jones, and other platforms.
  • Request and obtain supplementary information from sites or corporate functions, provide advice on reviewed matches to key stakeholders, and respond to all user requests, resolving technical or procedural issues.
  • Review screening reports and dashboards to ensure data integrity and accuracy, manage a quality review process, and support software updates by configuring systems, trialling new procedures, conducting user acceptance tests, and ensuring review adequateness and completeness.

Requirements

  • Ensure world-class compliance services, including, but not limited to, daily denied parties screening, high-risk country shipments, and controlled goods.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills with experience in managing cross-cultural teams in a 24/7 environment.
  • Innovative, highly motivated, and adaptable, with a strong ability to inspire change and work effectively across diverse cultures.
  • Provide robust leadership to the compliance screening team and successfully support the execution of the global compliance agenda.
  • Ensure effective management of all team deliverables.
  • Be solution-oriented and supportive of regions' reporting requirements.
  • Able to solve difficult, complex tasks and cases.
  • Work independently with general supervision.

Previous Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in a compliance role
