Position Overview:

ANSER is seeking a Systems Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Office (CIO) program focused on cybersecurity policy related to Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and CMMC. In this role you will provide guidance and systems expertise for DIB communications, international partners and outreach.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support for improving DIB cybersecurity public facing webpage, social media, and internal operations portal design.
  • Support operations activities with international partners.
  • Provide technical, analytical, and programmatic subject matter expertise to establish and/or revise international strategies, policies, plans, correspondence (written or presented), and other materials supporting DIB CS mission, goals, and/or objectives.
  • Support data reviews and advise stakeholders during implementation which may include management and integration of data from various sources for analyzing operational environments, employing state of the art scheduling software and collaborations tools to develop analytic reports, trend analyses, and risk reports.
  • Support meetings, teleconferences, and other interactions with companies in the DIB and other DoD and Government entities.
  • Assist in planning, data collection and entry, technical program analysis and administration for tracking, analyzing, and evaluating cybersecurity requirements. Capture action items
  • from interactions.
  • Assist in outreach efforts with small and medium sized companies while leveraging both existing and new strategies.
  • Prioritize outreach by engaging prioritized defense contractors and measure and report
  • on success of engagements.
  • Provide engagement meeting minutes including discussion points, action items, and major outcomes; and support general logistical functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study such as information technology, computer science, mathematics, cybersecurity or other similar discipline
  • Current active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • 5 years progressive relevant experience in supporting systems engineering and/or cybersecurity technology programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity standards.
  • Knowledge of CMMC 1.0 and 2.0, NIST 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements.
  • Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs, systems and infrastructure.
  • Prior experience providing guidance to government technical programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience presenting or briefing high level stakeholders, military officials and policy makers.
  • At least one cybersecurity certification such as CEH, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, GIA
