The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM) is accepting applications for a part-time faculty position in the Department of Dental Anesthesiology at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. This appointment is in the appointment stream.
The primary responsibility of this position would be to serve as a part-time attending dentist anesthesiologist to dental anesthesia residents. Responsibilities primarily include clinical instruction but also involve didactic instruction as part of the resident learning experience. Applicants must have a DDS or DMD degree from a United States Dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, as well as a certificate of training from an approved postdoctoral residency program in dental anesthesiology. The applicant must be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. Preference will be given to those with additional training, demonstrable experience, and board certification from the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology.
