We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in EMEA region. Position can be based anywhere in UK, we are offering full remote / hybrid work mode. 

 

Job Purpose:

  • As a key member of the UK & Ireland Estates Team, reporting into the Head of Commercial Real Estate, the Regional Commercial Manager will deliver comprehensive real estate expertise to all divisional businesses  This is a transactional role  responsible for all aspects of commercial property matters including Landlord and Tenant, Asset Management and Lease Advisory work.  The role also supports strategic growth through the acquisition of mainly leasehold properties, management of  the portfolio, and overseeing the timely exit and disposal of non-operational properties. The Regional Commercial Manager will lead real estate projects, develop innovative solutions, and support business unit initiatives to maximize performance and achieve strategic objectives.
 

Your tasks:

  • Undertake lease renewals, rent reviews and asset management within a defined geographical location.
  • Provide real estate solutions to support business unit growth and strategic initiatives across UK & Ireland.
  • Lead the identification and acquisition of properties including the negotiation of terms and completion of transactions, ensuring seamless delivery of real estate projects in collaboration with the Construction Team and solicitors.
  • Manage ongoing real estate portfolio activities, ensuring legal compliance and effective communication of lease breaks and expiries to business units along with financial advice.
  • Promote the GBS service offering and seek profit-earning opportunities through real estate activities.
  • Support the development of a unified approach to property sourcing and portfolio management across the EMEA region, while adapting strategies to suit local market conditions.
  • Establish strong working relationships with business units and external partners, ensuring successful project delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Represent the business in real estate negotiations with third-party customers and promote DHL Real Estate as a provider of property-based solutions.
 

Your profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial real estate, with a strong background in commercial Landlord & Tenant, asset management and leasehold acquisitions.
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or an equivalent real estate degree.
  • High-level influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver within budget and timescale, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Flexible approach to travel and working hours, with willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland, and occasionally into Europe.
