Overview

As an administrative assistant, you’ll welcome and assist in-person visitors, handle incoming phone calls, manage the office calendar, input data, and set up work stations for new hires. The administrative assistant reports to the administrative manager.

This position is part time and temporary with an anticipated 24 hours of work per week or less. Hourly pay for the role is between $20-25 per hour.



Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office events, schedule meetings, and run local errands for the office.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily office mail.
  • Maintain electronic and paper files, records, and reports.
  • Place orders for supplies and keep both the office and kitchen organized.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by office colleagues.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
  • This office job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. May occasionally be exposed to noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include constant sitting, talking, hearing, repetitive motions and occasional standing, moving, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and coordination. This job will rarely require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over to 35 lbs.
