Summary
The Recruiter is responsible forfacilitating the recruitment processes and activities to fulfill the staffingneeds of one or more business locations or business units.and ensure compliancewith regards to sourcing and selection for the company.
Sourcing from activeand passive candidate pools, the Recruiter develops pools of qualifiedcandidates for current and future position openings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Active and passivesourcing for real time position fulfillment as well as pipelining for futureopenings and specific outreach opportunities;
• Perform telephonescreens (requires active participation in the development of phone screenquestionnaires;
• Interview schedulingfor the local office;
• Ensure thatapplicant tracking is maintained and complete;
• Develop a strongunderstanding of our positions and duties;
• Represent thecompany at colleges & universities to support our On-Campus Recruitmentprograms;
• Influence, manageand maintain recruitment policies and selection procedures;
• Work closely withthe Human Resources Manager and other Recruiters to build consistent positiondescriptions and requirements;
• Work closely withthe Human Resources Manager with regards to requisition management;
• Assist HR Managerwith influencing and educating hiring managers with regards to AA requirementsand processes on an on-going basis;
• Develop strongunderstanding of employment arrangements that are available through thecompany;
• Ensure appropriateinternal communications throughout the selection, offer and hire processes(hiring managers, IT, Human Resources, Accounting);
• Actively engage withgathering market data through recruitment processes.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or the equivalent required;
• Work history must reflect at least five (5)years' recent experience in a position that was solely dedicated to therecruitment function;
• Work history must include a minimum of two (2)years recruiting for similar or professional positions (engineering and othertechnical);
• Experience related to job descriptiondevelopment and questionnaires related to qualifying candidates may beconsidered in lieu of experience recruiting engineering and technical roles;
• Experience in the Oil & Gas and/orIndustrial/Bulk Material Handling industries strongly preferred;
• Candidate must live within a commutable distanceto the local office;
• Working knowledge of the FLSA is a plus;
• Ability to adapt between manual and electronicprocesses;
• Ability to adjust to rapid changes inpriorities;
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Wordin required and Teams preferred);
• Ability to independently learn sharing platformssuch as Zoom or other platforms used by applicable organizations to the levelin which support for the use of the platform can be provided to hiring managersas needed;
• Ability and knowledge of social media platformthat allows appropriate use and the ability to build appropriate networks;
• Strong written and verbal communication skillsrequired.
WorkingConditions:
• Part-time work schedule that requires routinein-office attendance with flexibility for some work from home;
• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment (Private or Semi-Private office) but may require occasional travelto off-site work locations;
• Interaction with other team members, as well assupervisors and client personnel;
• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.
Physical Requirements (With orwithout Reasonable Accommodation):
• Must be able to lift and carry ordinarybusiness items estimated at five (5) pounds;
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing orother communication capabilities which permits employee to communicateeffectively;
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;
• Sufficient vision or other powers ofobservation which permits employee to conduct analysis and investigations;
• Sufficient manual dexterity which permit theemployee to perform routine office duties;
• Sufficient personal mobility and physicalreflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-sitelocations.
