About This Position
Join CRJ’s Family Reentry (FRE) service line and work as part of our clinical team! Family Reentry’s New Haven Behavioral Health Services provide treatment for individuals struggling with mental health as well as substance use issues. Working at FRE you will provide outpatient therapy to both individuals and groups. As a master’s level clinician, you will provide initial screenings, intake and assessments, crisis intervention, mental health and/or substance abuse therapy, client education, and treatment planning. FRE’s licensed outpatient clinics are here to meet the needs of our clients while facilitating their growth. This position is part-time, 20-hours a week, and is eligible for some benefits, with a starting salary of $35,000 and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. *This is not a fee for service position, guaranteed 20 hours a week.

Family Reentry (FRE) joined Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) in 2020. FRE’s programs include Domestic Violence Treatment and Education, Community Reentry, Mentoring Programs, Behavioral Health, and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Family Reentry’s programs operate in strategic locations that encompass eight municipal regions and judicial geographic areas, two parole districts and five prisons. Approximately, sixty percent of those we serve are from greater Bridgeport – Connecticut’s largest city. Office locations include Bridgeport, Norwalk, New London, and New Haven. About Us
Community Strategies (CS) supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services that include Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, as well as over forty community-based group homes. Social Justice Services (SJS), supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs. Behavioral Health (BH) has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs. The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.
