Overview
Responsible for the employer’s business operations at job sites. In this role, the Area Service Manager is responsible for growing the sales and service in their region by creating and maintaining new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
Perform all activities and services within established budget guidelines.
Work with RSM and HR on employee staffing needs for the area.
Work and coordinate with Dispatch when needed to ensure scheduling is at the highest efficiency.
Assist Dispatch in the monitoring of Service Technicians’ accountability and reporting.
Support internal staff, Service Technicians, customs, and sales staff with technical questions.
Execute surprise inspections on local/regional installations/services.
Provide services with the aim to exceed regional and customer expectations along with attaining company sales and performance targets.
Address complaints and resolve problems
Involve actively in team effort through routine communication with departmental management.
Ensure the Service/Sales Department and all its employees comply with all software entry requirements as set out by the senior management team.
Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to new and existing customers
Ensure the Service Department fleet is properly maintained, inventoried, and cleaned as directed by fleet management.
Conduct safety inspections to ensure it represents and reflects top quality.
Perform management responsibilities of mentoring, training, and developing future management.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in the security industry
Minimum 2 years of management
Travel required
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
