Description:

Texas Biomed is searching for a Project Management Coordinator to join our Applied Science and Innovation (ASI) team. This new role will provide operational, administrative, and project management assistance to Project and Program Managers.

The Role:


Project Coordination:

  • Maintain and update project schedules, task trackers, and timelines.
  • Organize and document project meetings, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Resource Coordination:

  • Support scheduling and coordination of resources needed for project execution.
  • Collaborate with Project and Program Managers to ensure timely availability of required resources.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Assist in facilitating communication among project stakeholders.

Operational Support:

  • Develop knowledge of PMO tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, other tools as needed, and PM Life Cycle).
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control of project deliverables.
  • Track risks and issues under the guidance of Project and Program Managers and propose mitigation strategies.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience). Biological or life sciences background is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative or project support roles, ideally in a technical, research or scientific environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and scientific protocols is preferred.
