The IT Specialist II position will maintain and improve the technical systems to ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work.
As an IT Specialist, you will:
Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation performance.
Provides answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through corrective steps.
Ensure the smooth operation of hardware systems by coordinating maintenance and repairs for personal computers.
Installing new software and hardware components.
Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
Aids in streamlining, automating and/or standardizing work processes through written documentation and/or scripting.
Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

Qualifications
Two-year technical degree in information technology or related field (currently enrolled or completed)
1+ year working experience in an IT, banking, or information security role required
Efficient troubleshooting abilities.
Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
Self-motivated and resourceful with strong research skills.
Ability to travel to different locations.
Microsoft operating systems.
Microsoft Office Applications.
