We are searching for a full-time Quality Technician Manager with strong inspection background and nondestructive testing experience (mag particle and/or UT).

Primary responsibilities also include:

  • Perform and document various inspection, including incoming, in-process, final, and source inspections

  • Nondestructive testing (UT, Mag particle FARO)

  • Internal and process audits

  • Customer documentation packets

  • Participation in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement projects

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Maintains NCR databases and records.

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school and/or 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience includes, minimum of three years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiar with machining, heat treating, painting, and/or assembly operations; a minimum of one year’s experience using precision measuring instruments to perform inspections of mechanical components; using CMMs (gantry and articulated arms); and/or working in an ISO 9001 or similar environment. Capable of reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, including geometric tolerancing.

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, to write routine reports and correspondence, using proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc, communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization (orally, written, email, etc.), and to speak effectively before groups of PMC employees.

  • Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and capable of performing basic statistical analysis and using basic statistical tools.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing factors in situations where only limited standardization exists and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Certifications in NDT testing, such as UT and/or mag particle, preferred..

  • Current driver's license

  • Must be available and able to travel on occasion (approximately 10%)

  • Must be willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when required.
