The Sales Operations Manager, reporting to the District Sales Director for Coca-Cola, will play a key role in both driving sales and managing operational processes. This position focuses on supporting revenue growth by managing forecasts, customer relationships, and handling Coca-Cola engineering inquiries, while also ensuring the accuracy of reporting, order tracking, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally, proactively solve problems, and contribute to both the sales and operational success of the team.

What You’ll Do

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting: Collaborate with Coca-Cola procurement to validate monthly forecasts for both NAOU and Bottler business.

  • Coke Engineering/COM Resource: Serve as the primary contact for Coca-Cola engineering and product management inquiries, assisting with field unit issues.

  • Bid file Creation and Maintenance: Maintain and update pricing files with Coca-Cola, ensuring timely communication of changes and justifications.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer-facing interactions, including presenting data, analyzing trends, addressing objections, and drawing insights from analytics.

  • Proactive Communication: Regularly engage with Coca-Cola to communicate shipment priorities and other pertinent details. Constantly maintain and drive a customer service mindset throughout teams; encourage cross-functional working relationships to enhance the delivery of the best possible service to internal and external users.

Sales Operations (Billing) Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Generate and distribute reports for Coca-Cola, including:

  • Weekly reports on inventory levels, shipments, and critical orders

  • Monthly reports on lead times, shipments, and key metrics

  • Daily revenue tracking for the sales team

  • Rebate tracking

  • Order Tracking: Track new purchase orders and coordinate shipment priorities, ensuring alignment with Coca-Cola’s needs.

  • Issue Resolution: Handle escalated issues that cannot be resolved through COCE, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

  • Revenue Tracking: Provide daily updates on revenue as applicable.

  • SCAR Resolutions: Collaborate with engineering teams to address equipment issues through SCAR reporting.

Skills/Experience We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and derive meaningful conclusions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and proprietary software to generate detailed reports.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.

  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow within the organization, taking on new challenges over time.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field such as sales operations, customer service, supply chain, or business analysis. Experience in the beverage or consumer goods industry would be a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with CRM or ERP systems.

  • Data analysis skills or experience using tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, or other reporting tools would be beneficial.

  • Experience with forecasting, order tracking, and revenue management processes.

  • Familiarity with sales processes, pricing models, or customer account management.
