How will your days be spent- Responsible for assisting senior level staff with leadership, management, and coordination of project team members and consultants from project inception through completion.
- Begin providing leadership and mentoring to team members and/or consultants. Help to manage project consultant coordination and relationships.
- Support senior level staff to help ensure the client’s vision, goals and objectives are understood by all team members and consultants. Implement design requirements through documentation and construction, maintaining design intent and/or integration of a specific piece of the project.
- Continue to increase responsibility for the technical planning and execution of project documents, including the quality, organization, and content.
- Deliver design-sensitive projects on schedule and within budget while making authoritative decisions and recommendations of significant impact related to the project.
- Assist in developing products and materials for presentations. Participate in internal project team meetings and attend technical and consultant meetings.
What you bring to this roleExperience:
- Minimum of five years of architectural experience, with at least one year of recent Project Architect experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and working on large-scale projects required.
- Experience with one of Flad's market segments preferred.
- Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and graphics communication skills essential.
Software:
- Revit proficiency required.
- Previous experience with AutoCAD preferred.
Education:
- Professional degree in architecture required.
- Professional registration required.
- Sustainability accreditation preferred.
