While RS&H was founded in 1941, we have been providing construction management services as one of our primary business practices since 1984. RS&H’s Transportation-Construction Management Practice serves numerous state departments of transportation, mobility/transportation authorities, turnpike/toll authorities, rail/port authorities, municipal/county governments, and private clients throughout the United States. Our Construction Engineering and Inspections (CEI) teams as well as our Construction Management teams are industry leading experts who provide a full range of construction engineering, program management, specialized testing, and inspection services from the preconstruction phase through maintenance and operations. RS&H is currently seeking a senior-level contract support specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. As part of the construction management team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by analyzing contract documents; preparing and submitting construction contract status reports for complex projects; producing reports and verifying quantity calculations and field measurements for payment purposes; preparing and processing construction contract changes; reviewing and managing contract documentation; tracking materials acceptance, progress, and final estimate processing and EEO compliance; participating in the development of proposals for large, highly complex projects; and planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project requiring the exercise of independent judgement. This position may also provide quality assurance, technical guidance, and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration.
