If so, we are looking for you, our next Modelling & Simulation (Algorithm) Software Engineer to work in San Diego, CA as part of a small team to explore and create new Modelling and Simulation (M&S) software and algorithms at the technological foundation of our business. From our Space Sensors Engineering Design office in San Diego, California, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective infrared (IR) Payloads that are hosted on satellites in earth orbit. This unique opportunity will allow you to support space programs, specializing in the design and prototyping of next generation software for future space missions. Primary Responsibilities:
The Modelling & Simulation (Algorithm) Software Engineer will work in a small team environment, developing portions of the M&S framework, with a primary focus on algorithm development for mission data processing. Further, this software engineer will build test scripts for the developed algorithms, and will support transfer of the algorithms to the program development teams for implementation and use on future mission payloads.
