Job Purpose
- To steer the growth and development of Reefers PAN INDIA.
- Generating high profile leads for Reefers
- Personally leading conversion and developing solutions of high value targets
- Owning high value key accounts
- Steering solutions and pricing levels
- Analysing market and sharing feedback on market levels with Procurement & Capacity Management Team (PCM)
Main Accountabilities
- Subject matter expert on Reefers
- Understanding market situations, available services, and implications
- Point of contact / subject matter expertise related to Reefers
- Responsible for Business development of the Sector
- Monitors Day to day operations and customer service for Customers.
- Reporting and Data Management – Reports, Dashboards, Order Management etc.
- Drive business development activities for High Value Targets, support RFQs with strategic importance
- Conduct Periodic Trainings
- XBU contacts
- Manage and Drive annual Customer interactions through meetings, conferences etc
- Understanding of competitor solutions and behavior
- Manage Thermonet Certification at Stations and Onboarding of Customers
- Deep understanding of service offerings of DGF (USPs) for Reefers and overall • “Spin doctor” and multiplier for new solutions
- Understanding of business profile of key customers on the trade lane, incl. personal contact to such customers
- Farmer for High Value customers on the trade
- Develops a high-performance service culture and team within the country that nurtures and encourages service excellence
- Effectively coordinates with PCM and sales to get business onboard.
- Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department. Trains and develops the key stakeholders
Requirements for the Job
- Good understanding of the global forwarding industry and the DGF business models
- Worked previously with Highly recognized forwarder known to carrier community for Trade as well as within DGF
- High profile product knowledge with operational background, strong commercial mind-set.
- Proven track record on ocean freight solutions, Product, Operations and pricing
- Experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans, in a large and dynamic environment.
- PAN India knowledge of Reefer Market
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA or other PG Operations degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take ownership and proactively address topics.
- Ability to handle multiple and hanging priorities.
