Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the InHome and Dedicated Van Delivery driver teams. This role is essential for providing real-time solutions to drivers, ensuring they can successfully deliver to Walmart+ customers while on the road.

The role is based in Bentonville, AR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driver Support: Provide immediate resolution to driver issues, ensuring seamless operations for both InHome and Dedicated Van Delivery drivers.
  • Process Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery process, with a strong focus on safety and technology.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Actively ensure that process changes are executed rapidly, and knowledge base articles are updated promptly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts from various departments including operations, product, HR, legal, compliance, call center, and engineering.
  • Driver Representation: Acknowledge that our InHome and Dedicated Van Delivery Drivers are the face of the InHome program, making deliveries either to customers' doorsteps or inside their homes. Ensure they have the necessary support while on the road.
  • Analytical skills: Analyze associate data, feedback, and metrics to derive meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions that enhance the associate and customer journey

  • Problem-solving skills - you can identify and address associate issues, resolve conflicts, and find creative solutions to pain points
  • Leadership abilities - leadership qualities are essential to lead the associate experience team, driving associate-centric initiatives, and influencing positive change within the organization

  • Developing and implementing associate experience strategies and initiatives
  • Analyzing associate feedback and data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring consistent and positive associate interactions across all touchpoints
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance associate satisfaction
  • Monitoring delivery metrics and reporting to impacted areas, leaders and officers
  • Identifying and owning process improvement for issues impacting the business
  • Full support of senior leadership on future tasks and initiative


Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area.
