What you'll do:
Reporting into the Director, Business Operations - Audit & Controls, the Sr. Manager, Business Operations - Audit & Controls, will play a pivotal role in shaping the first line of defense for the Walmart Connect organization.
At the core, the person in this role has a strong internal controls and audit background. If you are passionate about driving organizational growth, building risk mitigation programs and thrive in dynamic environments, this role is for you!
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
In short, this role will help build risk mitigation strategies for Walmart Connect and help implement internal controls to ensure proper mitigation. Working collaboratively, you will identify, anticipate, and prioritize risks, determine whether those risks are adequately mitigated, and act as remediation stewards ensuring that the solutions, we recommend address root causes sustainably

- Consistently been able apply data analytics approaches to drive efficiencies, assess and monitor risks, develop process reviews, build, and analyze hypotheses to solve complex business problems or assess processes and controls in an audit context, and recommend action plans.
- Be able to identify technical IT/business risks and compliance gaps, assess their impact, recommend appropriate solutions, and drive implementation thereof.
- Comfortable communicating with several different cross functional teams like product, legal, engineering and other areas within Walmart, with the ability to translate technical aspects into business language.
- Effectively leading by example, communicating risks, and influencing and enabling stakeholders to effectively mitigate those risks.
- Looking at day-to-day operations through a holistic lens, one that effectively positions you as an informed partner.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or accounting required
- 8+ years of experience required
- Big 4 accounting or consulting firm experience a plus.
- Digital advertising or media experience a plus
- Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to strategically structure and use frameworks to break down complex problems into clear steps and plans
- Business process savvy, ideally including an understanding of business processes, how systems support these processes, and the related risks that impact financial reporting
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High level of accountability, proven ability to take ownership
- Self-motivated and extremely proactive

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.
