Description Overview The primary responsibilities of this role are to support the global financial planning and reporting processes including annual and long-term plans and projections as well as monthly/quarterly reporting, with primary focus on R&D and Innovation in the CSCA business. This role requires thought leadership across both process and reporting design as well as strong collaboration with the R&D and Commercial teams, Business Unit finance, and the Accounting team, among others. Scope of the Role Business partner for CSCA R&D to provide guidance on setting budgets and analyzing and explaining results, including understanding risks and opportunities and actions needed to achieve spend targets. Business partner for R&D leadership to assist in financial evaluation of potential projects and investments to determine optimal allocation of resources. Contribute along with the broader FP&A team to monthly and quarterly reporting, presentation preparation and tie-out, and other regular or ad-hoc tasks; preparer and presenter of key management reports distributed to R&D Leadership. Contribute along with the broader FP&A team to template and report development to drive efficiency and consistency of data inputs and outputs across the business. Contribute on an as-needed basis to ongoing project and initiatives, especially those related to R&D and innovation, but also ad-hoc requests for ad-hoc analysis and presentations. Identify and implement any key process improvements on a continuous basis to optimize financial planning systems and processes within R&D and broader Perrigo. Experience Required This individual should have excellent analytical skills, have displayed an ability to collaborate with others outside of their immediate team, be able to influence and drive change, adapt quickly to changing needs in a fluid environment, while displaying a strong commitment to deliver results within required timelines. High level of commercial and financial acumen with the ability to formulate and clearly communicate analysis, insight, and recommendations. Requires expert MS Excel/PPT skills; SAP/Power BI experience is a strong plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. These skills are normally acquired through completion of bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field along with 1-3 or more years of experience in finance in a large company setting.
