Leidos is seeking a IT Systems Security Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP) and U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The successful candidate will serve as an IT Systems Security Engineer for HPC engineering and operations, and will liaison with senior government personnel supporting critical national DoD HPC systems.

Work will include the design, test, and implementation of secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies; participation in technical forums; and representing our company in joint meetings with the customer on IT Systems Security topics.  

Clearance Requirements

All candidates must have an Active Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
