ISS-STOXX is hiring! The Index Product Manager is an integral part of the product management team, spearheading the growth and adoption of the firm’s flagship indices, factors and sustainability offering, thematic frameworks and custom-index capabilities. This team member is responsible for developing and executing on ISS Stoxx's indexing strategy in conjunction with the broader product management, development, operations, sales, marketing, technology and analytics teams.
We'll trust you to:
Build, own and lead product narratives and strategies to drive ISS Stoxx's indexing growth and promote further external adoption of the firm’s index capabilities
Develop commercial product strategy including product positioning, indexing capabilities, index investment value proposition and ISS Stoxx's corporate value proposition to support sales and prospecting efforts
Produce in-depth competitive analyses, regular sales talking points and responses to ad hoc client questions
Lead thought leadership and content initiatives collaborating with internal partners to produce regular and relevant product insights in support of the ISS Stoxx brand.
Execute Client Segment; ETF/ETP, Asset Owner and SPs product and go-to market strategy
Execute on sales opportunities from competitive landscape to identify product needs and create go-to-market strategies (sales plan, revenue goals, product positioning, competitive analysis, use cases, marketing materials, sales training, etc.)
Develop product campaigns in conjunction with the sales and marketing teams to maximize product reach and ETF adoption Product leader and subject matter expert
Develop and execute overall index product roadmap, working across the team, and ongoing product management based on feedback from sales, clients, research and product development
Develop and execute the product roadmap including the prioritization of new product innovation and existing product enhancements, and the identification of target segments, use cases and distribution channels
Our dream candidate has
Bachelor or Master's degree with a background in Business, Finance, or Economics, is preferred
At least 10 years of financial market experience with index exposure for firms in indexing, ETFs, fintech, and/or investment management
Knowledge of portfolio management and risk methodologies, data requirements and input sources, including sustainable investing
Demonstrated ability to lead, work in cross-functional and divisional environments and be a team player as part of a highly engaged product management group
Can effectively influence others and gain their consensus when needed
Ability to handle steep learning curves. Comfortably dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty
Travel: 10-20%
Strong passion for index/investment management and strong empathy for revenue and growth.
Ability to work effectively across organizational/functional boundaries and contribute to broader strategic agenda of the company
Impeccable service ethic characterized by high energy, a positive attitude and the desire to go the “extra mile” for both external clients and teammates.
Previous experience working across teams, being able to operate across continents reflecting cultural differences and diverging priorities
This role is being recruited in New York City. The anticipated base salary range for the position is $160,000 - $205,000. The final base salary for the role will be based on the individual's experience and qualifications.
