Job Summary:
The Construction and Fabric Maintenance (FM) Lead will be responsible for managing, monitoring, coordinating the company Fabric Maintenance (FM) program and Construction of maintenance, reliability, and integrity projects for the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) offshore facilities. In this role, you will manage the FM Program and Construction work being performed by subcontractors, including oversight of Safety, and will work with our internal Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Asset Management, Quality and EHS department to oversee the execution of the project. Additionally, you would be expected to have a proven background managing Fabric Maintenance (FM) program and multiple Construction projects, demonstrating your ability to handle multifaceted challenges and deliver successful outcomes. In this role, you will manage a group of seven (07) Construction Supervisors and one (01) Fabric Maintenance Lead. This role will be based in Houston, TX, reporting to the Manager of MR&I Projects. Offshore visits are expected once per quarter..
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan and manage the entire Fabric Maintenance (FM) Program consistent with defined strategy, process, objectives, and budget.
· Manage interactive FM and Construction planning and workflow improvement sessions.
· Direct the establishment of appropriate FM process workflows for coating-related activities and document approvals.
· Develop and maintain operating rhythm to ensure FM and Construction deliverables are routinely achieved.
· Perform FM & Construction readiness assessments and implement gap-closure plans, as needed.
· Responsible for providing leadership, oversight and direction to the FM and Construction teams.
· Provide routine FM and Construction updates and reporting to key stakeholders.
· Ensure EHS requirements are continuously embedded in the FM and Construction work process.
· Ensure budgeted Fabric Maintenance (FM) program is delivered safely on time, on budget with completed CoS (conditions of satisfaction)
· Develop and implement FM and construction safety and progress measurement KPIs, conduct regular status meetings, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field.
· A minimum of ten (10) years of offshore experience in construction management of maintenance, reliability, and integrity projects.
· A minimum of five (5) years of Fabric Maintenance experience on offshore facilities.
· Comprehensive knowledge of Fabric Maintenance management including: 1) FM planning, 2) surface preparation process, 3) abrasive and vapor blasting, 4) coating application, 5) corrosion mitigation aspects associated with construction and installation of offshore topside structures and piping system.
· Working knowledge of SAP.
· Proficiency in managing FM and construction activities, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
· Collaborative approach to work, with a strong attention to detail and documentation, including daily reports, KPI tracking, periodic reporting, and other standard construction and Fabric Maintenance management activities.
· Must be able to understand business issues and direct favorable outcomes.
· Ability to energize others, ability to act critically and deliver results.
Skills/Attributes
· Knowledge of corrosion processes and mitigation in offshore environment.
· Knowledge of work management system, corrective and preventative maintenance planning and construction planning.
· Knowledge of typical offshore Fabric Maintenance best practices.
· Construction and Project management skills including ability to organize, plan and deliver results per a business timeline.
· Knowledge of project cost estimating, scheduling, and risk assessment
· Ability to apply sound, independent judgment and be decisive to determine a course of action consistent with an established project framework
· Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written), including the ability to develop technical reports and presentations
· Ability to manage external construction services
· Ability to work effectively under stress and time pressures
Working Conditions:
· Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations;
· Field duties require outdoor work in a construction site type atmosphere;
· Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel;
· Working on a construction site or in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
· Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection;
· May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes;
· May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

· Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively;
· Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;
