The Associate Director, Celebrity Partnerships is responsible for leading and implementing national celebrity, athlete and influencer engagement strategies that elevate awareness of Share Our Strength's mission and initiatives, including the No Kid Hungry campaign, among a national audience. Candidates should have a communications and/or marketing background with leadership experience and a proven track record of talent recruitment and stewardship and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In-house public relations or talent agency experience is strongly desired. The successful candidate will bring a strong sense of hospitality and appreciation of teamwork, a strategic mindset with and a tactical approach, creative thinking, strong writing ability and presentation skills, and proficiency balancing a diverse set of priorities that may include—but is not limited to—developing multiyear recruitment and stewardship plans, building No Kid Hungry's profile within the entertainment and sports industries, planning custom and turn-key activations for celebrity supporters.
This position is preferably based in Washington, D.C. (Hybrid- 2days per week); but could be in Los Angeles or New York City. Other fully remote for the right candidate living outside these locations. The position offers a salary range of $100k-$110k. Exact compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and geographical location.
