­­­Summary: Responsible for Nissin Foods infrastructure in the following areas: Advanced Technology, User Support, Network, Azure, Automation via scripting tools, Corporate and OT/Manufacturing Cybersecurity.

Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability – with or without reasonable accommodation – to perform the following duties but not limited to:

  1. Assist VP of IT in accomplishing all IT-related initiatives in South Carolina, Pennsylvania and California.
  2. Leads the day-to-day operational support for users, servers, storage or network infrastructure (Cloud and On-Premise).
  3. Focus on advanced technology and automation through use of scripting with tools such as Powershell, Power Automate, Python, and/or a combination of tools to automate and integrate systems.
  4. Provides advanced technical support (help desk) to local users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance.
  5. Builds, patches, tests (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA) and deploys complex systems and platforms meeting company’s needs and specifications.
  6. Facilitate administration of Infrastructure of Business Central ERP (Navision), SQL Databases and Reports including those that are under Business Intelligence Team.
  7. Oversee and manage projects with consultants and vendors.
  8. Perform planning / researching / designing / implementing newer solutions for overall Company’s efficiency and improvement.
  9. Actively attend Microsoft NAVUG and Convergences, SharePoint, and Business Intelligence, and other events and conferences.
  10. Prepare business cases for expenses and projects to convert from discovery to procurement/execution, while managing local expenses.
  11. Performs complex software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
  12. Configures security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals based on approved security policies.
  13. Documents complex procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to systems/networks software and hardware.
  14. Leads the configuration and maintenance of office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, i.e. Virus malware protection, office application suites and/or application software.
  15. Works with Business Applications, vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel from other Markets, Divisions, and Departments.
  16. Provides technical guidance and assistance to other IS Engineers and ERP/BI Administrators.
  17. Assist in continuously improving the quality of IT department output.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role is a functional role and will not directly manage any onsite staff but will manage external consultants and provide guidance to other IT team members.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three (3) years’ experience in computer science with three (5) years in Network design and architecture experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge obtained from a diverse background in scripting,

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Azure Cloud Certifications, CCNA, MCSE, CITRIX, A+ certifications. Preferred one or more of these certifications or equivalent.
