Overview
Liberal Studies (LS) is seeking a talented Student Affairs Administrator to join the Student Affairs team. This individual assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and activities. Researches and assesses clubs, programs, and resources. Acts as a liaison between students and student groups to assist with issues resolution. Supervises, trains, and mentors support staff. Develops and implements strategic plans with guidance. Bachelor's degree required and two years experience.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, or other appropriate field.
Required Experience:
2+ years relevant experience in student services and activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years Experience with event planning and some budget management.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills. Knowledge standard office software. Ability to interact with all levels of faculty and staff. Excellent planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to work some evenings and weekends in support of events & programs.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
