Come lead our dynamic, highly skilled CT Surgery APP team. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, compassionate, professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and able to prioritize and adapt to changing situations. Our APPs operate at the top of their scope to deliver high-quality, efficient healthcare to our patients. The CT Surgery APP manager will also serve as the Program Director for the new CTS APP Fellowship Program.

The APP manager will primarily work days; however, they will need to occasionally work an evening, night, weekend shift. No call is involved with this position.

Education: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program

Experience: Minimum of three years clinical experience required, with 5 years preferred. Additional experience may be required for some specialties.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) license required or Physician Assistant State License, DEA, AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications:

Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine. Meets credentialing requirements. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication, problem-solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems and programs such as electronic medical records. Qualifies for malpractice insurance and is accepted by Carilion Clinic's malpractice insurance carrier.
