Join a motivated team committed to helping MBA students finance their education. Work with systems and students to determine financial aid packages. Interact with the Harvard University International Office to secure I-20s for international students entering the MBA Program. You will be part of a close knit team dedicated to affordability of the MBA program.
- Counsel second year MBA students on financial aid policies and procedures. Determine needs analysis and financial aid decisions for a caseload of second year students.
- Analyze and assess reports in the Harvard University (HU) Student Financials system and Harvard Business School (HBS) systems and take appropriate action: scholarship exceeding tuition and fees, Federal Aid beyond required tuition and fees and FISAP report.
- Manage financial health programming including organizing speakers and tracking attendees.
- Collaborate with the HBS Financial Office and Student and Academic Services in term start up activities and commencement activities, ensuring students are financially clear to begin the term (manage prior balances). Manage registration and commencement checklists for financial aid. Manage annual scholarship poll.
- Work collaboratively with other Elective Curriculum (EC) financial aid officers on process and technology planning
- This role is responsible for other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
Additional Qualifications and SkillsOther Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of directly related and specific experience in financial aid/financial aid management systems is required.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.

Additional InformationThis is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday - Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.
