Post Doctoral Associate - Bondi/Kline Lab
Med-Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24007723)

The Bondi and Kline lab is currently recruiting for a post-doctoral associate.

The minimum education required for this appointment is a PhD in Neurobiology.

[Goal #1: Contribute to laboratory expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI) research. Continued training by Drs. Bondi and Kline

Steps/training: Acquire and independently perform surgical, behavioral, and histological techniques pertinent to TBI research

Goal # 2: Continued training in the dissemination of laboratory results

Steps/training: Assist in the writing/completion of scientific manuscripts

Outcomes: First or Co-authorship on 2-3 additional manuscripts in the laboratory. These additional manuscripts will be primarily written by the postdoc, with enlisted assistance from laboratory postbacs, if needed, and with minor editing from Drs Bondi and Kline.

Goal #3: Continued supervision of lab trainees

Steps/training: The Postdoc will supervise newer students in the lab and train them in some behavioral tasks

Outcomes: Fully trained students in the lab who can perform independent projects
